What defines a family?

The Volunteer Family has a broad and inclusive definition of family. It is usually a group of two or more people, such as parents, children, siblings, foster parents, caregivers, grandparents, aunts, uncles or cousins. However, the most important thing to remember is that an individual defines their own family. TVF hopes to strengthen the bonds within your family – as you see it.
